I do not belong to any band; nor do I perform in public (or even in private, for that matter!). I simply enjoy creating tunes, composing 'on-the-fly' in many instances. When I find something that sounds like it can become something more, I start recording and layering (maybe even too much layering, sometimes).

I do not belong to any band; nor do I perform in public (or even in private, for that matter!). I simply enjoy creating tunes, composing 'on-the-fly' in many instances. When I find something that sounds like it can become something more, I start recording and layering (maybe even too much layering, sometimes).

My music is often inspired by sounds in nature; like when a certain bird call seems to stand out among the others and catch my ear. I'll sit at the piano and try to duplicate the sounds of their calls (not easy!); when I get it reasonably recognizable, I start to expand on the theme and compose something of meaning; sort of a journey; hoping the music will provide a sense of positive and encouraging emotion for listeners.
