Dance music is all too rarely sentimental. When dance fuses with pop, it is in the sexual hysteria of electro or the cold aesthetic of house. Beauty and vulnerability are seldom expressed in dance pop. TNJX bucks this trend spectacularly.The songs are infected with the hyperactivity of sensitivity, building synth line on top of synth line to the extent where other producers would surely fall into atonality. But not TNJX.
