James Laidler is an acoustic guitar player who fuses together many different genres of music around a central acoustic idea. He grew up in County Durham, England, and learned to play the guitar, drums and bass from an early age. During secondary school, James founded a rock/funk band named ‘The Intake’. The band played many local gigs and obtained a considerable degree of regional exposure. Its members parted amicably in 2009 when they moved to different Universities.

James is now working hard to record his latest acoustic ideas and to promote himself in the world of new musical talent. He continues to explore other areas of music, and incorporate them into his songs.
