Everyday Broken is a four person band from Eastern Iowa (most of us are from Dubuque) with a common passion for spreading the truth of Jesus Christ to the world. Just as Jesus, EB desires to go where the people are and connect with them on their turf.

Everyday Broken is a four person band from Eastern Iowa (most of us are from Dubuque) with a common passion for spreading the truth of Jesus Christ to the world. Just as Jesus, EB desires to go where the people are and connect with them on their turf.

The band got its beginning from a vision of our bassist, Rick Livermore. God laid it on Rick’s heart to step outside his comfort zone and seek other followers of Christ to join him in starting a Christian rock band. Rick began to advertise and get the word out that he was seeking Christian musical artists. Shortly after, God brought together Chris Casey (drummer) and Greg Hocket (lead guitarist) through a local church in Dubuque, IA where they were both members of the worship team. The three of them started to play in the basement of Chris’s house and continued to seek a lead singer. Through other connections an email found its way to the computer of Phil Parsons (lead singer) who decided to contact the band. They met, and the rest was history
